I lost my dad to suicide just before I was 21 and the impact that has had on my life has been immense. In recent years I have volunteered for suicide prevention and mental health charities as well as supported many of our local charities and I am passionate about making a difference and enabling everyone to have a voice. Tough To Talk hits differently for me ...having worked with Steve on another project and seeing his passion as well as the way he 'gets' how men are different ignited something in me. Men don't talk like women and that's exactly what happened with Dad. He was too proud and felt useless - what Tough To Talk is doing is bridging that gap and helping us get to those men who won't talk and may not decide to stay. So to be working with the amazing team means the world to me
